VIRGIN HEAD HAIR CARE
We strongly recommend co-washing your hair with a moisturizing conditioner before installing.  Co-washing is a method used to cleanse hair, substituting conditioner in place of the shampoo.  If you decide to use shampoo, use a sulfate free shampoo as sulfate can be extremely damaging and dry the hair out.  When detangling, comb from the ends up.  Be sure to rinse the hair with cold water and air dry.  Avoid alcohol based products and refrain from using excessive heat.  You must take care of your Virgin Head hair as you would your own.  Avoid cutting or splitting the wefts.  If you must cut the wefts, seal each cut weft end with a weft sealant.  We recommend that you use Dritz Fray Check.
CAN I DYE AND/OR BLEACH MY VIRGIN HEAD EXTENSIONS?
Virgin hair can be dyed and/or bleached.  Extra care is needed as the hair is not attached to the scalp and does not retain its own moisture.  You must be mindful to keep the hair hydrated and moisturized.  When you dye and/or bleach virgin hair, the hair is no longer virgin as it will then be chemically processed.  We recommend that you have your extensions professionally dyed and/or bleached.
